Whether you are a homeowner or a landlord, you will understand the importance of having reliable services and utilities in a domestic setting. While your needs will be slightly different, anyone living in a domestic property expects to have working systems for heating and hot water, so whether you want these yourself or have a legal responsibility to provide them for your tenants, it is essential that you have systems in place to provide this assurance.
This is where Emergency Cover can help to provide the peace of mind and assurance that you need, with round-the-clock services and expertise to ensure you always have reliable sources of heating and hot water. But at Emergency Cover we also recognise that people have slightly different needs, and also that people live in different circumstances and are bound by different financial constraints, so we can help you choose the right cover plan for you.
Boiler Cover
Our most popular type of cover is Boiler Cover for a standard gas boiler. Our fast and effective engineers are Gas Safe-registered and operate on a 24/7 basis. They can respond to emergencies and don’t apply a call-out fee, so you can budget accordingly, knowing there will be no extra costs for your continual peace of mind. So if your boiler is making a noise, producing a water leak or won’t ignite, you can call our team and they will respond. With cover plans starting at £10 per month, you will also get an annual service of your boiler thrown in.
Renewables Cover
Renewable energy is becoming increasingly popular as people understand the benefits of sustainable heating sources such as air source heat pumps. Starting from £60 per month you can receive unlimited call-outs to any emergency problems with our renewables cover plans, and we don’t insist on long contracts so you have some flexibility. And even though air source heat pumps are a relatively new technology, our engineers are trained and qualified experts who can respond quickly to your needs.
Homeowners Cover
We recognise that homeowners have a basic need to have sufficient and reliable sources of heating and hot water, so our homeowner cover plans don’t just cover boilers, but also associated pipework and appliances, as well as toilets, sinks, baths and showers. At £15 per month our polices are affordable and recognise the range of everyday costs the homeowner faces, particularly during a cost of living crisis.
Landlord Cover
A landlord has a basic duty to provide safe and comfortable accommodation for tenants and hence it is in their interests to have effective and reliable heating and hot water systems. Having an Emergency Cover landlord plan in place saves a landlord a lot of hassle in making arrangements in an emergency situation and means the landlord has one point of contact. In order to recognise the landlord’s legal responsibilities, our landlord cover plans also provide suitable and sufficient certification in order to demonstrate compliance of gas and heating appliances.
Repair and Cover plans
If you haven’t got an existing cover plan with us, but you face an emergency situation with your heating or hot water, don’t worry, we can still help you. We don’t want to see anyone in the stressful or traumatic circumstance of being cold and uncomfortable and with no option to resolve it. So if you have an emergency situation we will fix that problem for a fixed fee of £99 if you then sign-up to one of our emergency cover plans. Our repair and cover plan could save you money on the emergency repair, will get your problem fixed quickly and will also save you money in the future in the same way that our standard cover plans do.
